Bio

Jeri Katherine Howell is a folk/Americana singer-songwriter who creates at the intersection of social and ecological justice, wellbeing, and the fullness of our shared human experience. She commands performances with her dynamic voice, thought-provoking lyrics, quality musicianship, and joyful presence. She has been writing songs and performing over 15 years, blending stories from around the world with sounds rooted in her Kentucky home. Jeri Katherine's love for co-creating expands to every audience: you will likely sing, you may cry and you might even help write a song!

Jeri Katherine Howell is available to book solo or as a duo (with Nat Colten on banjo), trio (add fiddle) or four to five piece band (add bass and drums).    

Jeri Katherine has been recognized for her songwriting, teaching artistry and social change work by the Kentucky Foundation for Women (grantee & awardee), Sleeping in the Woods Songwriter Festival (winner '24), Rocky Grass Folk Festival Songwriter Contest (honorable mention '24), Music to Life (juried artist), Partners for Rural Impact (teaching artist), U.S. Department of State (Fulbright grantee '17), Kentucky Arts Council and more.
