Bio
Patricia Brock’s photography is contemporary in style using both black-and-white and color images which are printed in large format on metallic paper, brushed aluminum, canvas, acrylic panels, glass and photographic papers.
Every image offers intimate and close-up views of nature, local surroundings and architectural elements, drawing individuals into the photograph. Her work offers public appeal and creates a calming, friendly and productive workspace or home environment.
Patricia’s work is not simply decorative but serves as functional design elements with limitless possibilities based on the requirement of each client. All images can be printed to be used as interior or exterior installations.
A recently developed series of work, titled “Color Explosion,” creates vivid excitement. These images radiate bright, saturated colors which impart a visual punch. Capturing the play of light and shadows, her sculptural scenes—some abstract and some recognizable—are her artistic interpretation of the world. These images are in a format suitable for inclusion in key architectural designs.
Patricia is a juried participant of the Kentucky Arts Council’s Kentucky Crafted program and a juried member of the Louisville Artisans Guild. She co-owns, and exhibits at Gallery Janjobe, in Louisville, Ky.
