My passion for drawing and color inspires my vibrant, yet simple pastel paintings. One of my greatest joys consists of discovering beauty in the commonplace and imparting it to others through my artwork.
I paint a wide range of subjects from still life and portraiture to my current series of colorful skies. I allow the scenes to inspire me, and my imagination takes hold as I choose the color palate.
My current series of skyscapes and landscapes attempt to awaken a feeling of endless possibility, richness and mystery by transporting the viewer to the scene with the vibrancy and color of my brush strokes.
