In 1990, Marcy's love of birds inspired her to create this unique feather jewelry. Her pin, earring, necklace and barrette designs have their origins in the feathers of native North American birds. Each piece of jewelry is individually hand carved from basswood. Texture is then applied with a wood-burning pen. The pieces are finished with acrylic paints and sealers, creating beautiful, lightweight and durable jewelry that appeals to people of all ages and that can be worn with all types of clothing.
