Bio
I design and fabricate clean modern jewelry for the fashion minded woman. My influences include the Art Deco and Art Nouveau styles of decorative art. I also draw inspiration from current fashions and trends. My TexMet (textured metals) line mixes copper, brass and silver in a variety of designs. Textures are achieved through imprinting with a rolling machine, polishing, etching and hammering. All TexMet pendants are lacquered to prevent tarnish and all earrings use surgical steel or sterling silver findings. Pendants are hung on 16” or18” sterling omega chains, beaded strands, leather or rubber cording with lobster claw clasps. My one-of-a-kind pendants are all hammer set in sterling silver. Each design is unique and is inspired by the size and shape of the stone. I use a variety of stones including malachite, jasper, onyx, labradorite and turquoise. The Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft in Louisville and The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea carry my work. I am also a juried member of the Louisville Artisans Guild.
