Bio
David Waltz gets ideas for his work come from every day experiences and from travel in other countries. While traveling, he views local artists’ work and photographs the country’s historic sites. These activities inspire new expressions in his art. Networking with other artists, reading magazines and visiting art shows also motivate David to try different creative expressions using clay.
Some his work is traditional pottery, but much of it involves sculptural elements added to a traditional form. Additionally, he sculpts many original forms in clay, including: boats, figurines and garden gods.
