Merging fine art with architectural ornament, Guy Kemper translates his paintings into blown glass using ancient techniques in a revolutionary way. Knowledgeable of architecture and construction methods, he enjoys working in the formative stages of a project. His experience and practical approach helps to minimize unpleasant surprises. This unique process, combined with superlative design and craftsmanship, has garnered worldwide acclaim. His work has been published, exhibited and collected in the United States, Europe, Japan and the Middle East and been the subject of three documentary films. Projects include walls of glass for Chicago O’Hare, Baltimore/Washington, Orlando and St. Pete/Clearwater airports, Mt. Baker rail station in Seattle, and the Catholic Memorial at Ground Zero in New York.
