I work with several mediums but primarily consider myself a printmaker. I fell in love with monoprints, or one-of-a-kind prints, shortly after graduating from Indiana University. I enjoy making unique prints because I believe they mirror the human spirit. We are all one of a kind.
Using inks and modifiers, I can work quickly, emotively capturing the essence of a moment. I am inspired by many different things: landscapes, color, shapes, spirituality and emotions. Some prints are colorful and express vibrant energy. Some are calm and have a strong sense of balance. Some prints are comprised of many different layers of inks while others are transferred to the paper all at once.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art with a major in Printmaking from Indiana University and have had the good fortune to study internationally. Recently I have been working in my home studio in Louisville. Several of the monoprints I have created have been purchased for corporate collections, private collections and foundations throughout the United States and in Greece.
