Deb Chenault, owner/artist of Twelfth House Designs, was privileged to study the art of jewelry design with the master silver artisans of Thailand. She continued her education in the metals program at Eastern Kentucky University. She is a juried, exhibiting member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen and the Sheltowee Artisans and has exhibited her work at many galleries and museums across the region.
As a former free-lance writer and illustrator, Deb enjoys creating talismanic pieces that convey meaning, and transferring her original illustrations into metal form. She works with mixed metals—primarily copper and sterling silver—using repurposed and recycled materials whenever possible. She often incorporates gemstones and handcrafted porcelain objects into her metal designs.
Deb currently makes her home and studio in the wooded hills of beautiful Berea, Ky.
