Bio
I feel intimately connected with horses through my paintings. My unique style explores the boundaries between traditional realism and impressionism. I paint individual horses to show character and groups of them to show relationships with other horses. I also paint them in motion where I push the colors, break the planes and blur the lines of reality. I particularly enjoy portraying horses and human beings that interact with each other for sports and pleasure riding.
