Elizabeth Foley creates colorful, abstract art. Layers of color, pattern and texture work in harmony to form contemplative spaces to explore and enjoy. The dialogue between shapes and colors activates the imagination; they influence and play off each other in order to shift and tilt planes of information. Using traditional printmaking techniques, such as relief, collagraph and monoprint, Foley uses the plates in different configurations and colors to create work in series. Each print is one of a kind. The imagery creates an opportunity to find balance and beauty in the day.
