My unrelenting fascination with the natural world and my love of illustration are uniquely wed in my ceramic artwork. I strive to create charming, one-of-a-kind, handmade, functional ware. Each piece is designed to have a soul and personality. The simple comfort of holding a warm mug on a chilly morning or the joyful ease of sipping bourbon from a whiskey tumbler are blissful moments I am able to take part in through my work. I am endlessly inspired by other ceramic artists and illustrators and by my daily observations living on a small farm in Kentucky. I am a collector of these inspirations, which dwell in me, only to later transpire into the illustrated characters and themes found in my ceramics. Thoughtful collectors need not look further; my work serves as both functional piece and beautiful object.
