Marti Brown’s love of fine fabrics started as a young girl when she accompanied her mother and grandmother on their missions to find the best bolts that Cincinnati had to offer. Fascinated with textures, colors and function, Made on Magnolia was born with a focus on designing one-of-a-kind handbags to adorn travel or evenings out. The challenge that Brown presents herself is to find beautiful remnants of high-end pieces and assemble the scraps to create a lovely, useful bag that can never be duplicated. These works of art are loaded with pockets inside and out. All of the bags are double stitched, structured with heavy batting yet soft enough for easy storage.
