Lexington-based Rahab's Rope thrives on harmony — on and off-stage. Band members will tell you, "We do music we love," which can be anything from a punchy cover of "Wade in the Water" by the late Eva Cassidy to "Fields of Gold" to original tunes by band members and friends. Think folk flavor Americana which may bend toward old time jazz, gospel, southern rock and even classical when the mood arises.
More than a decade after its birth in the back seat of a third-hand Saturn on a now legendary road-trip from L.A. to Lexington ("Another night, another chile relleno!") Rahab's Rope has continued to delight audiences at festivals, fundraisers, churches and other public and private venues across the Bluegrass and beyond.
