Bio
Ceramics is a natural medium for Marie-Elena Ottman. Her love of clay inspires her to explore new ideas and she enjoys creating with this tactile medium. Born and raised near the Panama Canal, she has been exposed to the diverse indigenous cultures, flora and fauna found in the tropical rainforest. Her artwork stems from these elements and an interest in color, texture and form.
Creating large scale mosaics and tiles allows Marie-Elena’s passion to be unrestricted. She has the ability to combine her artistic style with the customer’s expectations to create each custom piece.
