Bio
Tristen Brooke is an international performing artist who studied classical guitar performance at Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. Later, her love of a wide variety of music including rock, funk and flamenco molded her own style of playing. Adding to over a decade of experience, she regularly performs solo and with a full band. She also teaches guitar.
Tristen’s full band is the convergence of four skilled and experienced musicians. They create an organic mix of classical, funk and rock with undertones of earthy soul. The group consists of Tristen’s energetic, percussive guitar playing accompanied by her soulful voice, Steve Sturgil’s incredible lead guitar sorcery, Luis De Leon’s natural hand and auxiliary percussion and Ben Short filling the low end with funky bass. Their performances offer a unique and entertaining experience and exhibit their tenacity and perseverance to their art. The lyrics are mainly focused on environmental conservation and inspiration to continually improve oneself. They exemplify astounding talent and a love for making music.

Stage Dimensions: 6 feet x 6 feet
Audio: For a solo performance: One vocal mic with boom stand, an XLR output for the guitar, one monitor, a sound person capable of running sound. Depending on the venue, and for additional cost, the artist can bring sound equipment. Please see stage plot for other configurations with additional members.
