Bio
I have been handcrafting jewelry for more than 24 years and have always been fascinated with stones and rocks. Eventually, I began to turn that fascination into jewelry designs. My inspiration comes from nature with the colors and textures she provides.
Also there have been times when a customer sparks an idea for a new design. My customers say color is my forte — not only the colors I choose, but also in the way I combine those colors.
I started out as a self-taught artist, but have studied at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and the Louisville Visual Arts Association.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Theology from Catherine Spalding College (now Spalding University). I am a certified practitioner for EPTworks™, an energy psychology therapy system which helps release limiting beliefs, new or old hurts, or emotions, which keep one from reaching their potential. I am currently studying to become a doctor of Naturopathy. My jewelry designs are influenced by all of my training and educational pursuits.
