Capturing the Spirit of Kentucky.
The love of Kentucky, the Ohio River, the Kentucky Derby and Mother Nature shines through Lynn Dunbar Bayus’ oil paintings She travels around Kentucky and the United States painting in the "plein air" tradition, out-of-doors. Best known for her striking compositions and vivid use of color, she incorporates these elements into large aerial landscape paintings and intimate smaller paintings of everyday beauty.
Dunbar is a winner of both local and national awards. She was honored to be the 2018 Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks Poster artist. Her work was also selected for the 2018 holiday label for Woodford Reserve Bourbon. She donates a portion of her proceeds to childhood cancer research. See more work at
