Ambo Dance Theatre is a Louisville-based contemporary dance company creating original, interdisciplinary performances that engage audiences through movement, storytelling, and collaboration. Rooted in modern dance, the company combines dance, theatre, multimedia, and visual elements to create works that explore social issues, personal narratives, and the shared human experience.

Minimal Technical Requirements
Minimum stage size: 12' x 9' (16' x 12' preferred)
Lighting: General wash for stage, preferably with the ability to go to blackout between dances; general room lighting for other environments
Audio: 1 microphone for announcements; ability to play recorded music (bluetooth, auxiliary cord, etc.) at a volume loud enough for both dancers and audience members
Other: Performance space must have a smooth floor that is safe to dance on barefoot. Marley floor or wood flooring are preferred. Carpet, tile, earth/lawn, and marble are acceptable. Concrete, brick, or other non-smooth surfaces are not acceptable. Outdoor stages must be wood, vinyl portable stage panels, or have marley flooring.
