In the creases of a full life I have found my way back to making beyond homemaking. With every pass of my shuttle I feel the joy of setting something small in its place toward a greater whole. No element anywhere, no matter how lonely, is by itself. And no matter how knotted up the world can seem, weaving always makes sense.
Bri Weaves goods are lovingly woven in my home, with the finest combination of fibers and colors I can find. I create pieces, primarily cowls, that are both beautiful and functional. Worn around the neck, an unconscious reminder of connections, while tangibly being a practical item of body wear for warmth and comfort. While many pieces share a warp, every weft is unique, making each finished work one of a kind.
