The Oakwood Foot Stool is a unique, handmade piece of furniture built only at Bluegrass Oakwood, a facility for persons with intellectual disabilities located in Somerset, Kentucky.
These one of a kind foot stools are made from real hardwoods such as red oak, cherry, walnut and hard maple and come in five different sizes ranging from small to large bench-style.
Each leg is sanded smooth by hand and sealed with several coats of a high-quality polyurethane finish to protect the wood and allow its natural beauty to show through. The tops are hand woven from a durable, twisted rush that comes in a variety of different colors for you to choose from.
