After years of being a professional baker and buying natural products for her own family's use, Leslie Bowers combined her passion for chemistry and transformation with her desire to tread lightly on the planet and formed Peace of the Earth in 2006.
Pampering bath and body luxuries such as bath teas, sugar scrubs, salts and fizzes round out the eco-friendly product line along with natural home scenting options such as room and linen sprays, soy candles and diffusing oils. Pure essential oils are masterfully blended to create mouth-watering scents —ginger lemongrass, peppermint rosemary, oatmeal almond and more.
The product ingredients are all plant-based. Even the packaging is eco-friendly, using recycled materials and soy ink. All of the products are made by hand in small batches at Peace of the Earth's production facility and retail shop located in the vibrant NuLu neighborhood, just east of downtown Louisville.
