Bio
Although I have been painting for several years, my most rewarding venture began approximately eighteen years ago with a study of fashions from the early 1900's. After searching through old catalogs, magazines, newspapers, family photos, and browsing through antique shops and libraries, I began to feel a desire to bring yesterday's fashions into today's world.
My life-sized figures are hand painted on wood. The stands are made of heavy duty steel and slide on and off for easy transporting and shipping. Various accessories have been added to the line, such as: large fold screens, umbrella stands, purse mirrors, hand mirrors, collages and wall mirrors.
I attended Murray State University and have taken numerous drawing and painting workshops through the Murray Art Guild.
