I first began photography as a hobby to document family history and record my travels. As time passed I found that my photographs were reflecting the scenes of nature; florals, animals, waterfalls and landscapes. The exquisite colorful details of nature surrounding me were captured on film. Each photograph holds a special memory and place in time.

I began producing notecards and enlargements that reflected a sensitivity to nature. The interest of friends and family was the spark that led to pursuing a professional venture. Six years ago Captures of Nature evolved and today my work is exhibited at several juried art shows, specialty shops and galleries, so the photos can be shared and enjoyed by everyone.
