Larry Wright
First and foremost, I consider myself an artist that has chosen the photographic image as my medium of expression and communication with the public. I regard my images as stories or expressions. I work as an artist to present my images to the viewer and to communicate my subject's story or emotion accurately and truthfully, as I understand it.
My formal education was in Architecture and in Ceramics, where I studied under Master Potter Fred Tuska. I exhibited as a potter in a multi-state region from 1968 until 1985. My artistic focus gradually shifted in the early 1970's from ceramics to photography. I have now been a working Fine Arts and Architectural Photographer for over thirty years.
All of the artwork and printed images displayed in the Reflection's Collections are photographed, edited, prepared and personally printed by myself. This assures my patrons of the highest quality of artwork and presentation attainable.
