Janice LeBrun

My work is a combination of mediums such as watercolor, acrylics, collage, colored pencils, and inks. My favorite medium is watercolor with its bright colors, softness and "blend ability." I also enjoy the escape that painting offers. I love to create a picture that has a mood or emotion. If the picture represents something that is unique and different, like a row of mailboxes, I get very excited! You can even make a mistake, and it still can be something wonderful. It is truly habit-forming.

I am a realist painter rendering a true likeness of the object. I love hometown settings with garden scenes, large bouquets of flowers, and older homes. I have been commissioned by various local businesses as well as many area homeowners to do a painting of their business or home as a special gift.
