Brenda Flynn

Brenda Flynn has been a working artist for over 25 years. She first started working as an illustration freelancer for a newspaper in Florida, hired on full time in 1983 and left in 2004 to pursue a career in art.  Flynn works as a freelance photographer/writer for magazines and continues to show art in several galleries in Florida.  Flynn works extensively in mosaics, having created large pieces such as a full size fiberglass horse (public art) to smaller canvases of folk art images, portraiture and three-dimensional in traditional mosaics.  Her love of recycling fits in well with using broken tiles and plates and paper to create fun, whimsical imagery in both indoor and outdoor applications.  Flynn has worked in various media applications. In addition to the traditional arts, she also continues to create logos, illustrations and book cover designs for several repeat clients.
