Lorinda Jones

Lorinda JonesLorinda Jones is a nationally recognized performing and recording artist, teacher, and board certified music therapist. Specializing in Celtic and American traditional music, performances feature Lorinda on the Celtic (Irish style) harp, mountain dulcimer, and tin whistle, along with a variety of other folk instruments.

She performs solo, as well as duo with guitarist, mandolin and bouzouki player, Bruce Adair, and trio with bass, fiddle and mandolin player, Kelsie Westfall. Together, their music encompass the roots of American music from the ancient harp tunes of Ireland and Scotland to American mountain music, bluegrass, ragtime and gospel.

Residing in Central Kentucky (near Elizabethtown), Lorinda is the artistic director of two community-based music groups, The Heartland Dulcimer Club and Harps of Life Harp Ensemble. As a music therapist, Lorinda is the owner of Music Therapy Service of Central Kentucky, providing contract services for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Lorinda has produced numerous books and CD recordings, which are sold throughout the state and across the nation.
