Derby City Chorus

Derby City Chorus delivers musical excellence with close four-part harmonies in the a Capella style under the direction of Allen Hatton. The chorus proudly represents Louisville, Kentucky and all of Kentuckiana with a mission to share a love of music by providing local shows as well as competing in regional and international contests. In 2006 in Jacksonville Florida, the chorus was crowned International Champions for the fifth consecutive time.

Derby City is excited to sing new original works. The chorus was very fortunate to have established a relationship with a world-renowned songwriter and hometown Louisvillian, Mrs. Chilton Price.  Mrs. Price composed two original works for the chorus which they proudly introduced to local and international audiences. One of these wonderful songs, One Spring Day in Kentucky would be just right for your upcoming Kentucky event.
