John Gage & EarthHeart

John Gage, leader of EarthHeart, is a veteran showman who has established a strong following over the past 35 years as a premier folk singer, songwriter, guitarist, emcee, and host of Kentucky Homefront, a radio show broadcast on public radio stations across Kentucky.

As a solo performer or together with EarthHeart, John performs extensively throughout the region in art centers, festivals, clubs, theatres, churches, libraries, schools and just about anyplace where there is an audience just waiting to sing along. John has recorded four commercial albums, including two with EarthHeart, and has produced several recording projects with students.

John specializes in building community through his musical performances and stories. The mission is to bring people and communities together through music.

EarthHeart also provides specialized arts education music programs and works in outdoor education to support teachers creating learning experiences for students.
