Heath & Molly is a dynamic two piece roots-rock band from Rumsey. Their show is 100 per cent live with no loopers, sequencers, auto tune or tracks. They are highly regarded as exceptional entertainers by fans and peers alike, and known for their ability to establish and nurture deep connections with their audiences.
Heath & Molly deliver the sonic value of a much larger ensemble. Powerful vocals, smooth harmonies, thick acoustic guitar grooves, organic djembe rhythms and a rock-solid kick drum cajon combine to create a high-energy, authentic musical landscape.
These international roots-rockers tour extensively. They perform an average of 150 or more shows each year, including an annual concert tour of Kentucky State Parks and dates across the country and in Europe.
They have released three original studio albums: finally gettin' it, 39 and TRUTH?. They have recently released a new live album, Beneath the Roots!, recorded during concerts inside Cascade Cave at Carter Caves State Resort Park in Olive Hill. Their music embraces themes of nature, life, diversity and social justice.
Heath & Molly are full-time, professional performing artists. They were chosen as the featured performing artist for the 2011 Kentucky Arts Council Annual Report.
