I hand craft my jewelry with a wire-wrapping technique that utilizes no soldering and only simple tools. The inspiration for each piece comes as I manipulate the wire and a shape begins to form. With my hands I bend, smooth and shape silver and gold wire into one-of-a-kind pendants, earrings, necklaces and rings. I accent these with gemstones, crystals and glass beads that I make in my studio.
My taste drives my style. My goal is for people to buy my jewelry because they love it. Then they will pick it up and wear it again and again.
I am a juried member of several art organizations including the Sheltowee Artists Guild and the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen, where I hold the post of Executive Director. I am also among 13 artists who make up the Studio Artists Walking Tour in Berea.
